Reading Treasures is a research based, comprehensive Reading Language Arts program for grades K-6 that gives educators the resources they need to help all students succeed. High quality literature coupled with explicit instruction and ample practice ensures that students grow as life-long readers and writers. Treasures is availble for all district elementary teachers through the 2010 Langauge Arts curriculum rewiew.

           Login required, obtain access using the registration info below.
Teachers: Allows access to Teacher Edition & supplemental resources to obtain copies of the teacher licensed materials, and Student Edition to reserve a quantity of the student licensed materials and create codes for the students to use to redeem their copies.
Students: After teachers register students and creates their redemtion codes, allows students access to online student edition.

This exciting online Level Reader Database allows you to visit the website and search for all of the Treasures 2011 Leveled Readers and 100’s of other titles from Macmillan/McGraw-Hill for grades K-6, in a number of ways. You can search for leveled readers by various topics, including: title/author, genre, skill, text feature OR by reading levels, including guided reading, Reading Recovery and Lexile levels. Your subscription to the database allows you to:

  • view each book
  • hear each book read aloud
  • zoom in and out to increase viewing size
  • print each book
  • create a personal ‘bookshelf’ of your favorite books
  • purchase books

 

To register your username and password and experience the functions of a full subscription:

Teachers: Visit the desired web site and use the Register link, following the instructions to enter your Access Code and setup a log in and password. Quick start help guides are also provided below. The access codes can be found by grade level using the links below. Do not use a code that does not list you specifically or you will prevent other teachers from accessing the system. Contact the Curriculum Department to report incorrect listings.

Student/class: Logins are created by teachers. For myBooks, teachers use the Online Student Edition to create redemption codes for their students to use when registering. For Online Leveled Reader Database, teachers use the provided access code to create logins for their class or specific students.
